ISS Expands SecurOS UVSS Portfolio With New Versions and Enhanced AI Capabilities
ISS has introduced four new SecurOS® UVSS solution variants and enhanced AI-powered under-vehicle inspection capabilities to support a range of security checkpoint operations.
ISS (Intelligent Security Systems) has announced a major update to its SecurOS® UVSS (Under-Vehicle Surveillance Solution) product line, introducing four new solution versions designed for different market segments and adding functional enhancements aimed at improving flexibility, speed and accuracy in undercarriage threat detection.
The expanded portfolio includes SecurOS® UVSS Essential, Pro, Elite and Mobile, each tailored to specific operational requirements ranging from single-entry facilities to large-scale security environments and temporary checkpoints.
The SecurOS® UVSS Essential is designed for facilities with a single vehicle entry point. The platform replaces traditional manual vehicle inspections with an automated "digital mirror" system intended to modernize checkpoint operations. Organizations can add optional capabilities such as a "3D magnifying lens," automatic image comparison, visual anomaly maps and an AI-driven foreign object detector. The solution supports vehicle screening at speeds of up to 9 mph.
For organizations managing multiple entry points, the SecurOS® UVSS Pro uses a distributed architecture that allows a single security team to manage and synchronize data from up to three checkpoints. Standard features include 3D lens functionality, automatic comparison of undercarriage images and the marking of suspicious areas. Optional enhancements include an AI-based foreign object detector, magnetic suspicious maps, the SecurOS® Motus VO21 driver camera with the SecurOS® FaceX facial recognition module and an automated cleaning system. The platform also supports third-party integrations, failover clustering and one-to-one failover while screening vehicles traveling at speeds of up to 22 mph.
The SecurOS® UVSS Elite is aimed at large-scale, high-security environments where throughput and resilience are critical. Supporting an unlimited number of checkpoints and failover clustering, the system is designed to maintain uninterrupted operation around the clock while screening vehicles at speeds of up to 30 mph. The Elite version incorporates the capabilities of the UVSS Pro and offers optional additions including the SecurOS® Motus VO21 driver camera, SecurOS® FaceX software and an automated cleaning system.
ISS also introduced the SecurOS® UVSS Mobile, a portable version housed in durable cases for rapid transport and deployment. Designed for temporary checkpoints, the solution provides high-resolution imaging and AI-powered analytics comparable to the company's fixed installations.
In addition to the new product variants, ISS announced platform-wide enhancements across the UVSS line. The company said processing speeds have increased to as much as 1,000 frames per second. Combined with new stitching algorithms, the added processing capability is intended to improve the quality of stitched undercarriage imagery.
The updated platform also increases vehicle throughput speeds to as much as 30 mph (50 km/h), helping reduce inspection bottlenecks. ISS said an enhanced AI engine improves foreign object detection capabilities, while support for new universal checkpoint business processes and expanded enterprise functionality is intended to better serve corporate customers.
