D-Fend Solutions' EnforceAir system deployed overlooking Seattle's host stadium, with Mount Rainier in the background, providing non-kinetic, cyber-driven counter-drone airspace protection during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
D-Fend Solutions announced that its EnforceAir counter-drone platform was deployed during the 2026 FIFA World Cup across host cities in North America, where the company said it was selected by national, federal, state and local law enforcement and public safety agencies to protect matches, surrounding venues and critical infrastructure from unauthorized drone activity.
The news marks one of D-Fend Solutions' highest-profile deployments since Motorola Solutions announced its planned $1.5 billion acquisition of the company in June.
According to the company, the deployments took place across the United States, Canada and Mexico. D-Fend Solutions said more than 20 public safety agencies adopted the EnforceAir platform during the tournament.
The company said security operations were conducted under strict confidentiality before and during the event. According to D-Fend Solutions, deployments were carried out across multiple host locations, creating what it described as a large-scale cyber counter-drone presence throughout the multinational tournament.
D-Fend Solutions said the deployment spanned multiple tournament sites and involved coordination among international, federal, state and local agencies operating within a layered security environment.

D-Fend Solutions said it has deployed its technology with federal, national, state and local public safety agencies worldwide. The company also said its expansion into the U.S. state, local, tribal and territorial market has been supported by recent legislation and reflects growing demand for non-kinetic counter-drone technology at the municipal, state and regional levels.
