Inert Clothing IED Kit (TSK9540) from DSA Detection

The Inert Clothing IED Kit is designed to be used to train security screeners on the detection of an IED threat hidden inside of a person's clothing. Each device is visually correct and will respond in X-ray, MM wave, Backscatter, walk-through and hand-held metal detectors just like the real threat. These training aids provide a firsthand look at how these types of devices will respond to allow for the adjustment of screening procedures and equipment settings for optimum detection. The devices in this kit are very difficult to detect in screening systems – with this kit, security officers can see exactly what their systems can and cannot auto-detect.
