ADT has announced Gilles Drieu as its new Chief Technology Officer. Drieu has spent more than two decades in leadership positions at Silicon Valley giants such as Google, Apple and Adobe. He is joining ADT to further accelerate the innovation of the company’s product offering.

“Having driven innovation at scale for leading technology, I’m thrilled Gilles will be helping ADT pave the way forward,” said Wayne Thorsen, ADT's Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer. Along with Chief Product Officer, Naveen Chhangani, and Chief Information Officer, Sam Jaddi, Drieu will help lead ADT’s product and technology roadmap.

At Apple, Drieu led forward-thinking teams in the creation of the first GPU-accelerated web browser, enabling seamless interactive web experiences and immersive video streaming with HTML5 on iOS devices. Later at Google, he played a pivotal role in revolutionizing the smart home industry, shipping several generations of Chromecast, Home and Nest products.

“Our customers know and trust ADT as the industry leader in smart home security,” said Thorsen. “With these three leaders in place, we are accelerating our pace of innovation and strengthening our tech stack; in doing so, we're assuring our customers that the trust and peace of mind they feel with ADT is well-placed.”
