SAN DIEGO --
Authorities are seeking the public's help in identifying a man dubbed the "Well-Dressed Bandit", who is suspected in 10 robberies that occurred at San Diego County banks or credit unions since last May.
According to the FBI, the latest robbery in the series occurred Friday at a Chase Bank in the 9400 block of Scranton Road in the Sorrento Valley area. At about 5:45 p.m., the man approached a teller, simulated a weapon and demanded cash, according to the FBI. The teller complied and the man left with an undisclosed amount of money.
Witnesses said the man left in a black Lexus or Mercedes Benz. This is the third time the man is believed to have robbed that particular Chase bank. The man is also suspected of robbing the same bank last year on Sept. 7 and Nov. 5.
The man is described as black, in his mid 30s, about 6 feet 2 inches tall and about 220 pounds.
In Friday's robbery, the man was wearing a black hooded jacket, black cap and scarf and dark slacks and shoes.
Surveillance photos from previous robberies show him in a suit, sports jacket or dark leather jacket. In some robberies, he is shown with a dark scarf covering his face.
Authorities believe the man is responsible for these robberies:
