With the pandemic forcing many schools to shut their doors to in-person learning for much of the 2020-2021 school year, active shooter incidents on campuses across the nation also declined noticeably. However, with most districts expected to return to normal operations later this year, the threat of mass shootings will also increase sharply as students, teachers and staff return in greater numbers. Join us as our panel discusses what steps schools have taken to mitigate the active shooter threat and the challenges that still need to be addressed before classes resume in the fall.
