Based in North America, Carolyn brings over 20 years of technology and cyber security sales leadership experience and completes the formation of a new NCC Group Executive Committee
NCC group is delighted to announce the appointment of Carolyn Hieken as Chief Commercial Officer of the Group’s Cyber business. With over twenty years of experience selling SaaS and Services, and driving go-to-market strategies across the cybersecurity sectors, she will steer our global sales strategy and lead our regional markets teams.
Carolyn joins NCC Group from Expel, a managed detection and response provider, where she served as VP of Sales.

Her background in Cyber, and particular at Expel, is exciting and hugely relevant for us, in particular as we seek to grow our Managed Services business and grow anualised revenues as part of our Next Chapter strategy.”
Carolyn started her career at CA Technologies, which was later acquired by McAfee. In 2010, she joined cybersecurity vendor, Imperva, as Regional Sales Director and also Director of Major Accounts, overseeing the Central US region. She then joined PE-backed Arxan Technologies, responsible for the global enterprise sales teams, transforming and growing the business before moving to CyberMDX and Elevate Security as Chief Revenue Officer before latterly moving to Expel where she developed a strategy to drive growth through internal channels and strategic partnerships with entities such as VARS, private label providers, and cloud partners to expand reach and deliver value to customers.
