Arteco-Mobile, a handheld mobile video application, is designed to work in tandem with Arteco Vision Systems' Intelligent Video Solution (IVS) products. It helps end-users reduce false alarms through visual verification by enabling personnel in the field to view live, real-time video from the same handheld, Web-enabled device that notifies them of the security event talking place. The JAVA-based software designed for pocket PC's and SmartPhones, allows instant access to real-time video from a network enabled ARTECO-IVS. When the IVS detects an event, it sends a real-time e-mail to personnel with event details and a JPEG snapshot of the event taking place.
