moviTHERM has announced the launch of Irley™, a new IoT thermal camera designed to help organizations detect fire risks, equipment failures and other heat-related issues before they result in costly damage.

The company said Irley is intended to provide more than temperature monitoring by combining thermal imaging with remote connectivity and automated alerts to support proactive maintenance and risk management.

According to moviTHERM, deployment requires three steps: positioning the camera, configuring alert thresholds and preferences, and activating monitoring. Users can remotely view thermal footage, monitor temperature trends over time and adjust settings without visiting the installation site.

Irley also creates an automated record of alerts and monitored events, providing documented histories that organizations can reference following an incident. The company said this documentation can support discussions with insurers by providing a record of monitoring activity and alerts.
