The EL4500C is another new component of Nitek’s cutting edge Etherstretch product line. This new device couples an environmentally hardened 4 port PoE+ Network Switch with Nitek’s award winning Etherstretch™ technology. The EL4500C is sold as a transmission system including a four port transmitter, receiver and a power supply which requires, very little installation time and absolutely no set up or configuration. The EL4500C is transparent to the network thus requiring no IP and MAC addressing. Simply connect up to four network devices to the IP Ports of the transmitter, connect the transmitter to the receiver and the system begins communicating. These units quickly turn any ordinary RG59 coax cable into a high speed network communication path for distances up to 500 meters or 1640 feet.
The NITEK EtherStretch EL4500C extends network communications to overcome cable distance limitations offering connections to devices in locations traditional networking does not allow. The EL4500C is ideal for retrofitting existing installations. The units are constructed of industrial grade RoHS compliant plated aluminum which is finished with a corrosion resistant finish making it very durable.
