DynaPel Creates Aviation Security Division

Pilot and aviation software professional Max Gray to develop company's new focus
Nov. 9, 2006

DynaPel, a Memphis, Tenn., company known for its video surveillance products and systems, announced today that it was making a push into aviation security. DynaPel has hired Max Gray, who the company reports is a aviation software expert and a private pilot, to lead the company's efforts.

According to Jeffrey Vollmar, DynaPel's vice president, the aviation division will be primarily focused on taking the DynaPel solutions to small and mid-size airports. The company is particularly focused on its CloseView solutions, which make a standard PTZ camera a tool for tracking intruders and unauthorized traffic.

Gray will be titled as director of aviation security, and will be based in DynaPel's Memphis headquarters.

Vollmar reported that Gray is already on the job, working to set up demonstrations with a number of airport facilities.
