VIENNA, VA - March 26, 2012 - VidSys, the leading provider of Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software that allows organizations to resolve business and security situations in real time, today announced a new partnership with Bridgeborn, a leading IT, operations, policy and research company. As technology partners, Bridgeborn's patented Bridgeworks data visualization platform will be integrated with the VidSys PSIM software system to provide advanced 3D visualization capabilities for operators and security executives viewing and managing unfolding situations.
"Our advanced visualization capabilities provide customers with a powerful situational tool that enables swift decision making and supports multiple stakeholder perspectives," explained Timothy Ambrosino, CEO, Bridgeborn. "By integrating with VidSys, customers are able to leverage additional security assets through one common operating picture to improve overall visibility into unfolding security and safety situations."
By combining Bridgeworks' visualization platform with the VidSys PSIM software, organizations can view physical security assets on a 3D graphic within the VidSys PSIM application. Situations can be seen on the interface, alongside the specific details of the situation including videos and action plans. The Bridgeworks solution provides security operators with additional topographical information regarding the location of the situation being managed for better decision making and support.
"When swift assessment and decisive actions matter, having sophisticated geospatial information at an operator's fingertips can be transformational, " said Michael P. Jackson, chairman and CEO, VidSys. "By enabling our customers to utilize the impressive 3D visualization, planning and analytic capabilities of Bridgeborn, we are empowering our customers to adopt cutting-edge visualization and operational tools seamlessly to help manage real-world situations."
To see the benefits of the integrated capabilities in action, there will be a demonstration of the joint solution at the VidSys exhibit booth (#6035) during the upcoming ISC West Conference, taking place March 28 – 30, 2012 in Las Vegas.
