Hanwha Vision’s Wisenet 9 System on Chip (SoC) serves as the processing foundation for the company’s flagship camera portfolio, combining AI-driven imaging performance with advanced cybersecurity protections.

Developed in-house, the Wisenet 9 SoC is designed to improve image clarity and operational efficiency. AI-based noise reduction minimizes video noise while preserving detail, reducing overall file size and lowering bandwidth and storage requirements. AI-driven Extreme Wide Dynamic Range enhances visibility in scenes containing both bright and dark areas.

The processor also incorporates AI-enhanced compression to optimize storage efficiency and network utilization. Integrated analytics capabilities support object and attribute detection, including identification of color, age and gender characteristics.

From a cybersecurity standpoint, the SoC supports FIPS 140-3 Level 3 validation, aligning it with requirements commonly specified for education and government environments. The architecture is intended to strengthen device-level security while supporting advanced video analytics across enterprise surveillance deployments.
