Rhombus has announced the launch of Custom Events, a new capability within its AI analytics suite designed to help customers extract more value from their physical security ecosystem.

According to the company, Custom Events allows organizations to define measure and receive alerts on virtually any observable condition in their camera footage. The capability is intended to transform what the company described as passive footage into operational intelligence.

Rhombus said the feature can help teams optimize workflows enhance safety and uncover insights that drive both top- and bottom-line impact. The company also emphasized that these benefits can be achieved without adding headcount or requiring costly custom model training.
