SECO-LARM’s ENFORCER Armored Door Cords are now available in both silver and black finishes to match varied installation environments.

SECO-LARM announced the expansion of its ENFORCER Armored Door Cord line with the addition of a new black-finish option, offering installers greater flexibility for matching door hardware and architectural aesthetics. The new finish joins the existing silver option while maintaining the same functionality and performance.

Designed to create a secure and durable pathway for wiring between a door and its frame, the armored cords are built to protect internal connections in access control installations. The company now offers the cords in two configurations to accommodate different installation needs, including standard versions and models equipped with a 4-pin pre-wired terminal block on each end to simplify connectivity.

The available models include SD-969-M15Q/S in silver without a terminal block and SD-969-M15Q/K in black without a terminal block. Models with terminal blocks include SD-969-T15Q/S in silver and SD-969-T15Q/K in black.

The ENFORCER Armored Door Cord series is engineered with a focus on both durability and ease of installation. Each unit features a stainless steel armored cable designed to protect internal wiring, while removable end cap covers allow installers to access wiring without removing the full assembly. The end caps are constructed from heavy-duty zinc alloy for added durability.

Standardized sizing includes a cable inner diameter of 5/16 inch (8mm) and an outer diameter of 7/16 inch (11mm). Each cord measures 15 inches (39cm) in length, excluding the end caps. All units are shipped with the necessary mounting screws.

SECO-LARM stated that the addition of the black-finish option enhances compatibility with common door hardware while maintaining the reliability installers expect from the ENFORCER series.
