SARGENT Delayed Egress & Electric Latch Retraction (DELR)

Allows openings to be compliant with building codes for egress, while also allowing for an electronic access control (EAC) system to control both inside and outside access in conjunction with a door operator.

Delayed Egress & Electric Latch Retraction (DELR) is the latest option for PE80 Series Exit Devices from SARGENT.

This option allows openings to be compliant with building codes for egress, while also allowing for an electronic access control (EAC) system to control both inside and outside access in conjunction with a door operator.

Features:

• Easy installation: DEED and ELR are combined into the rail and wires are routed through the rail, eliminating the need for channels to be drilled into the door for simple and fast installation.

• Authorized Access Control: Works with access control to allow for authorized ingress or egress without activating alarms.

• Non-disruptive Operation: Fast and quiet retraction to not disturb patients or residents in hospital or assisted living facilities.

• Visual and Audible Alerts: 80 decibel alarm and time delay allow for attendants or security to respond to unauthorized access attempts and an LED visual notification system provides simple identification of an armed and ready device.

Common Applications:

• Healthcare facilities

• Assisted living facilities

• Government buildings

• Airports
