Kwikset has announced the launch of the Canvas Trim Collection, a series of decorative trim options for its Halifax lever. Available exclusively for direct purchase from Kwikset.com, the collection offers homeowners additional options for personalizing door hardware.

The Canvas Trim Collection builds on the contemporary profile of the Halifax lever with three designs inspired by interior materials and aesthetics: Linen Marble, Cloud Stone and Midnight Slate. Each design features a glossy, easy-to-clean surface.

Linen Marble pairs a bright marble-inspired design with a Matte Black frame. Cloud Stone combines a light stone-inspired design with subtle speckling and a Satin Brass frame. Midnight Slate features a deep slate-inspired design with a Matte Black frame for a higher-contrast look.

Canvas Trim is available with Halifax passage and privacy levers for use throughout the home. Passage levers provide non-locking functionality for hallways and closets, while privacy levers feature interior push-button locking for bedrooms and bathrooms.

The levers are reversible and can be installed using a screwdriver, with hardware and detailed directions included. The hardware fits standard doors measuring 1 3/8 to 1 3/4 inches thick and includes an adjustable latch for 2 3/8- or 2 3/4-inch backsets.

The collection uses Kwikset’s premium chassis with dual compression springs intended to help keep the lever straight and wobble-free while supporting strength and rotational feel. Canvas Trim passage and privacy levers are Grade AAA certified by the Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association for security, durability and finish and include a lifetime mechanical and finish warranty.
