ABLOY Super Weather Proof (SWP) padlocks are a locking solution in which the components are extremely well-protected to ensure operation in all conditions. Security is guaranteed, even with regular exposure to extreme heat or cold, storm-driven salt water, or desert dust.
The SWP range of padlocks includes both mechanical and electromechanical models in a range of sizes. All padlocks in the range – both electromechanical and mechanical – offer the same high level of durability. Different sizes of mechanical and electromechanical locks can be combined in the same locking system.
Designed and manufactured in Finland, the excellent physical strength of ABLOY padlocks provides extremely effective protection against forcing, picking, and vandalism. Case hardened boron steel shackles offer exceptional durability and have successfully passed demanding corrosion tests. The IP68-designated locks are fully dust tight and withstand continued immersion in water.
