Unlike traditional smart locks that rely on geofencing or simple proximity detection, Sense Pro introduces Schlage’s new proprietary access technology, Schlage Converge, which uses Ultra Wideband (UWB) to deliver exceptional accuracy. With Apple hands-free unlock with home key and UWB, Schlage Converge pinpoints a user’s iPhone or Apple Watch and calculates their approaching speed, trajectory and motion. Once Schlage Converge confirms intent to enter, Sense Pro unlocks precisely as the user reaches the door, creating a seamless arrival experience that is both more intuitive and more secure than conventional solutions.

Compatible iPhone and Apple Watch users can take advantage of this hands-free capability through Apple Home Key, while NFC-enabled iPhone and Apple Watch users can also enjoy convenient tap-to-unlock functionality.

With built-in WiFi, Sense Pro can be managed remotely through the Schlage Home app. Homeowners can lock or unlock their doors from anywhere, manage up to 250 unique access codes, create schedules, and customize lock settings.
