ADI announced the international rollout of Control4 X4 and the optional Control4 Connect across the United States, Canada, EMEA, APAC and LATAM. The company said the launch introduces a redesigned user experience alongside a new service framework intended to shape the future of the Control4 platform.

Control4 X4 with the optional Control4 Connect is now available for both new and existing Control4 systems internationally. ADI said the combination is designed to provide partners with a competitive platform by pairing a modern user experience with a secure platform intended for long-term growth.

The updated X4 interface features a refreshed design with a cleaner visual layout, faster navigation and an upgraded home screen that surfaces the most relevant controls. ADI said the interface is intended to meet growing expectations from residential and commercial users who compare control systems with consumer technology experiences.

New features including Routines and Widgets allow customers to make simple everyday adjustments without repeated service calls. According to ADI, these capabilities are intended to reduce friction between partners and customers while allowing partners to focus on system design and advanced configurations.

Control4 Connect serves as an optional service framework for new systems. ADI said it is designed to keep Control4 installations secure, updated and compatible with an expanding ecosystem of devices and services. The platform supports features including remote access, system insights, Intercom Anywhere and voice control through Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant.

The optional premium tier of Control4 Connect adds expanded personalization through curated Routines, additional Apple ecosystem integration including Apple Music, AirPlay 2 and HomeKit and ongoing feature enhancements delivered directly to the system. ADI said these capabilities provide customers with a pathway to expand their systems over time while creating recurring revenue opportunities for partners.

The company said the combination of X4 and Connect is designed to simplify post-installation changes, reduce maintenance complexity and support long-term system viability through continuous updates and future integrations.

Partners across all regions have participated in an Early Access program, hands-on evaluations and training ahead of the international launch.
