Telaeris has introduced a new integration between its XPressEntry platform and Honeywell's LenelS2 Elements, bringing handheld credential verification, biometric authentication and emergency mustering capabilities to cloud-managed access control environments.

Telaeris, a provider of handheld solutions for physical access control systems, announced a new integration between its XPressEntry platform and LenelS2 Elements, Honeywell's cloud-based access control and video management solution.

The integration is designed to extend LenelS2 Elements beyond fixed entry points by enabling security teams to validate credentials, verify identities and account for personnel using handheld devices in the field. According to the company, the integration addresses security workflows that take place in locations such as muster points, parking areas, buses, training rooms, outdoor perimeters, temporary entrances and remote facilities where fixed readers may not be practical or available.

Telaeris said the integration is intended for organizations adopting cloud-based physical security environments that span multiple buildings, remote sites and evolving spaces.

With the integration, organizations using LenelS2 Elements can perform handheld badge verification, emergency evacuation mustering, handheld biometric verification and entry and exit tracking. Additional supported use cases include managing access at corporate events and training sessions as well as guard tours, time and attendance, bus entry validation, guest and visitor tracking, remote parking enforcement, mobile enrollment, confined space management and badge-linked employee surveys.

"We are excited to expand our support for LenelS2 and Honeywell customers with this new XPressEntry integration for LenelS2 Elements™," said Dr. David Carta, CEO of Telaeris.

Carta added that Telaeris already supports multiple LenelS2 and Honeywell security environments, including certified integrations with LenelS2 OnGuard and NetBox as well as integrations with Honeywell MAXPRO, Pro-Watch and WIN-PAK. He said the new integration enables organizations to extend cloud-based access control into the field with handheld badge validation, mobile mustering and biometric verification tools that improve safety and security.

"The successful integration of Telaeris XPressEntry handheld badge readers represents a powerful enhancement to our expanding Elements™ cloud ecosystem of access control integrations," said Michael Coniff, Sr. Product Management Lead at Honeywell Technologies.

Coniff said the integration delivers real-time mobile credential verification and mustering capabilities within the platform, providing security teams with greater flexibility, operational efficiency and situational awareness to help protect people and assets across a range of environments.

Telaeris said the addition of XPressEntry allows LenelS2 Elements customers to use handheld readers to support security and safety workflows that occur beyond fixed access points.
