Adams Rite, an ASSA ABLOY Group company specializing in narrow stile aluminum hardware solutions, has released the RITE Touch 2050 (RT2050) Digital Glass Door Lock, a keyless access control solution for all-glass interior swinging or sliding doors.

The RITE Touch 2050 combines touchscreen technology with multiple access credential options for modern office and commercial environments. Users can unlock doors with a PIN code, biometric fingerprint or MIFARE credential.

For interior unlocking, the lock offers a choice between a knob and an ADA-compliant accessibility lever.

The surface-mounted design eliminates the need for glass preparation, including drilling, while providing a streamlined appearance for interior glass applications. Adams Rite said the lock is intended for offices, conference rooms and other spaces where aesthetics and functionality are important.

The battery-powered lock provides standalone access control and keyless entry. Its minimalist design is intended to complement glass interiors while its touchscreen interface provides an intuitive means of access.
