IQSIGHT, formerly Bosch Video Systems, has received LenelS2 factory certification under the LenelS2 OpenAccess Alliance Program (OAAP) for the integration of its Video Recording Manager with the OnGuard access control system.

IQSIGHT’s Video Recording Manager (VRM) versions 4.50 and 4.70 interface with OnGuard 8.3, allowing users to view live and recorded video and display Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA) and IVA Pro alerts directly within the OnGuard platform.

VRM provides access to video stored across multiple iSCSI disk arrays and automatically balances video streams to optimize storage space and improve retention times. The certification also includes IQSIGHT DIVAR IP all-in-one appliances, which use VRM core components and services.

The integration allows operators to use the built-in intelligence of connected IQSIGHT cameras to receive IVA and IVA Pro alarms within OnGuard. Alerts can include detection of events such as perimeter breaches, with color bounding box overlays identifying where an event occurs within a scene.

Matt Lamb, director of solutions engineering at IQSIGHT, said the integration is intended to provide security personnel with additional visual information when responding to incidents.
