SAFR will showcase its face-based security solutions at GSX 2026, highlighting ways organizations can strengthen access control and visibility while maintaining control over how biometric information is managed.

The company said organizations are seeking ways to improve access control, increase visibility and investigate events faster. At the same time, face-based security can raise privacy considerations related to where information is processed, how it is managed and which approach is appropriate for a particular environment.

SAFR SCAN provides organizations with multiple options for managing privacy based on their requirements. These include choices around what biometric data is stored, where it is stored and how long it is retained.

The platform can support storing biometrics on a user's mobile device or smart card, giving users control over their biometric data. SAFR also offers intent-based access to help remove inadvertent background scanning.

With SAFR Camera, face matching is processed directly on the device, while non-matches are deleted to help minimize unnecessary data collection.

We believe they should have choices in how they deploy face-based security and manage privacy, rather than having those decisions dictated by the technology. SAFR gives customers that flexibility while helping security teams gain greater certainty about what happened.”

At GSX 2026, SAFR will demonstrate its face-based security ecosystem across access control and video. The company said organizations can select solutions that fit their environments while maintaining greater control over privacy management.

SAFR also said its solutions can be integrated with existing security infrastructure, allowing organizations to apply the technology to areas where it is most relevant and select privacy approaches that align with their requirements.

SAFR will demonstrate its face-based security ecosystem at GSX 2026, taking place Sept. 14–16 in Atlanta at Booth 2051.
