Austin, Texas – September 9, 2015 – Smarter Security, Inc., provider of premium, innovative entrance control and outdoor security solutions, today announced that a recent IHS Technology research report identified Fastlane as the market share leader for intra-building speedgates in the United States. The Market for Pedestrian Entrance Control Equipment – 2015 report reveals the Americas market grew at a healthy 19.2 percent combined annual growth rate since 2012. With 22.9 percent of this market, Smarter Security’s Fastlane® continues as the number one brand in the U.S. since it assumed the top spot in 2008.

The IHS research shows the Americas market for pedestrian entrance control is the fastest growing region in the world and is worth over $100 million. Speedgates are nearly half of this market, which also includes tripod turnstiles, security doors, and full-height turnstiles.
