Fire-Lite Alarms announces expanded training program for 2014

Company to offer more than 100 classes in 62 different cities across the U.S.
Nov. 25, 2013

Fire-Lite Alarms recently announced that it will offer more than 100 hands-on training seminars across the U.S. in 2014. The company said that it plans to cover a range of subject matter in its training courses - from fire alarm system basics to applications design and programming.

The one-day Fire-Lite Systems courses and two-day Software Applications Courses scheduled in 2014 will take place in 62 different U.S. cities. NICET-certified instructors will lead these hands-on courses, which offer attendees the opportunity to earn continuing education units (CEUs).

As CEU-accredited fire alarm programs become harder to find, and dealer interest in emergency communication systems rises, Fire-Lite Alarms Training Supervisor Tom Rosa said he expects to see a jump in next year’s training registrations.

“Given the rising interest around our training program this past year, particularly when we began covering the ECC-50/100 mass notification system, I wouldn’t be surprised if we train more people in our instructor-led classes in 2014 than in any other previous year,” added Rosa.

For those unable to attend hands-on training sessions, Fire-Lite also offers free online training modules and technical instruction videos. Click here for more information or to see the company’s 2014 training schedule.
