AURA has been named a winner of the 2026 ESX Innovation Awards in the Remote Guarding and Incident Response category and also received the People’s Choice Innovation Award, which was voted on by attendees of the Electronic Security Expo (ESX).
The awards recognize products and services that are helping advance the electronic security and life safety industry. Presented annually as part of ESX, the program highlights technologies and service providers that support dealers, integrators, monitoring professionals and enterprise security teams in improving operational performance, customer outcomes and business growth.
AURA was recognized for its response platform, which connects alarm events to physical intervention through a nationwide network of licensed private security responders. The platform enables monitoring centers and security providers to dispatch the nearest available responder within seconds using intelligent dispatch technology that considers proximity, availability and live operating conditions.
As a winner in the Remote Guarding and Incident Response category, AURA participated in the ESX Innovation Awards Showcase on June 1. The company was also one of six organizations selected to compete in the ESX TechVision Challenge, where participants delivered “shark tank” style presentations of their technologies. Following the presentations, ESX attendees voted for the solution they believed represented the most exciting, impactful and innovative offering, with AURA receiving the top honor.
According to the company, the platform has delivered measurable operational results across the security sector. AURA reports that it has reduced average response times to less than 18 minutes and contributed to a 22% increase in positive incident resolutions. The company also said its automation and integration capabilities provide a 74% efficiency gain for alarm center staff by removing the need for manual coordination and dispatch processes.
“This award reflects the growing recognition that security outcomes matter more than alerts alone,” said Tim Garrett, President of AURA US. “Monitoring centers, integrators, and enterprise customers are under increasing pressure to deliver faster, more accountable responses without adding operational complexity. AURA was built to solve that challenge by giving operators immediate access to verified, on-the-ground intervention through a seamless, scalable platform.”
AURA said its asset-light operating model allows monitoring centers and security providers to expand geographic coverage and support larger multi-site customers without the expense and complexity of building internal guard operations. By coordinating multiple vetted responder networks, the platform is designed to help organizations scale response capabilities while improving consistency and reducing operational friction.
The company also said the platform creates opportunities for security providers to offer response-enabled services that can support customer retention and generate recurring revenue.
“Winning an ESX Innovation Award is an important validation of the momentum AURA is building across the US security market,” said Warren Myers, Co-Founder and CEO of AURA.
“As monitoring centers, integrators, and enterprise clients look for faster and more accountable response capabilities, we’re seeing growing demand for platforms that can deliver verified intervention at scale,” he added. “This recognition reinforces the value of the infrastructure we’ve built to help our partners improve response outcomes, increase operational efficiency, and expand their service offerings.”
