New CFO and worldwide sales lead strengthen company’s experience and leadership for growth and expansion

Redwood City, Calif. (Dec. 9, 2014) - Icontrol Networks, a leader in connected home technology and innovation, today announced the appointment of two senior executives – Ken Hahn will lead Icontrol’s finance operations as chief financial officer (CFO), and Steve Gribbon will oversee the company’s sales operations as senior vice president of worldwide sales.

They will be responsible for the company’s continued growth and expansion in the smart home market, which is expected to reach $71 billion by 2018 according to Juniper Research. Both add valuable experience in leading companies into new growth phases, each with a portfolio of strong industry relationships and knowledge.

“We’re making great moves to strengthen our leadership team so Icontrol can seamlessly evolve as the smart home market continues to grow,” said Bob Hagerty, CEO of Icontrol. “Ken’s vast experience with fast-growth public and private companies and Steve’s demonstrated abilities in growing sales organizations will help us reach new levels of success.”

Ken Hahn will oversee financial expansion and growth for Icontrol. He joins the company from online marketing company QuinStreet, where he most recently served as executive vice president and chief operating officer. Over the past 15 years Hahn has served as CFO of three billion-dollar market cap public companies, and led two initial public offerings (IPOs) as CFO.  His professional services background includes eight years at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

Steve Gribbon will be responsible for worldwide sales across all of Icontrol's business units. Prior to joining Icontrol, Gribbon served as the senior vice president of sales for the ADT Corporation, where for 23 years he was responsible for all direct and indirect residential and small business sales channels as well as various marketing and operations functions. During his tenure, he developed The ADT Authorized Dealer Program and grew the direct sales channel to approximately 4,000 team members, helping ADT expand their customer base from roughly one million subscribers to more than six million, with revenues increasing from $175 million to over $3.3 billion during that period.

“Both Icontrol and the smart home industry have seen tremendous growth recently – and we expect to see even more momentum in 2015,” said Hahn.  “I look forward to helping the company continue its forward trajectory as a global connected home innovator and leader.”

“Icontrol is a visionary in the connected home space, and I am excited to be part of its success,” said Gribbon. “With huge growth expected for the smart home market, it’s an exciting time to join a company leading the industry forward and to help execute its next chapter.”

Icontrol is the most widely used connected home platform in the industry, currently managing more than 26 million sensors and devices as the software behind service provider and security company systems. For more information, please visit www.icontrol.com.
