SECO-LARM has introduced two heavy-duty audio notification devices housed in 304L stainless steel enclosures for indoor and outdoor security applications. The HS-161A ENFORCER Siren and HS-162A ENFORCER Speaker feature corrosion-resistant construction, tamper protection and installation options for demanding environments.

Both devices share the same dimensions of 5-11/16 x 5-13/16 x 3-9/16 inches (145 x 147 x 90 mm). Each features a hinged cover with a terminal block for wiring and two prewired tamper switches to monitor the cover and detect removal of the unit from the wall.

The housings include predrilled mounting holes compatible with most back boxes as well as wiring knockouts on the back and sides. Side knockouts accommodate an optional strobe, including SECO-LARM's ENFORCER SL-1314 series, or other single-gang devices. Dedicated mounting holes are also available for an optional SS-040Q internal vibration sensor.

Both models operate in temperatures ranging from 32 to 149 degrees Fahrenheit (0 to 65 degrees Celsius) and support humidity levels up to 87% non-condensing.

Siren and Speaker Specifications

The HS-161A ENFORCER Siren operates on 9 to 12 VDC with a maximum current draw of 1 amp at 12 VDC. It features a selectable dual-tone output with steady and warble tone options and delivers a sound level of up to 117 dB at 3 feet (1 meter). The unit weighs 2 pounds, 11 ounces (1.2 kilograms).

The HS-162A ENFORCER Speaker provides high-output sound reproduction with a nominal power rating of 30 watts and a peak rating of 50 watts at 8 ohms impedance. Its frequency response ranges from 500 to 7,000 Hz. The speaker weighs 3 pounds, 7 ounces (1.6 kilograms).

SECO-LARM backs both products with a five-year warranty. The devices are also CE- and RoHS-compliant.
