ALCEA Taps Dominique Jardin to Lead Americas Expansion
ALCEA, an ASSA ABLOY company and global provider of total security solutions for critical infrastructure, has appointed Dominique Jardin to the newly established role of Vice President, Head of Americas. This leadership position was created to support ALCEA’s growth strategy in the region and to align with ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions’ Critical Infrastructure’s focus on security software innovation and system integration.
With 26 years of experience in business development and leadership roles within ASSA ABLOY, Jardin brings deep expertise in the critical infrastructure security sector. His background spans access control, connected hardware, and customer-driven solution development, positioning him well to lead ALCEA’s expansion across North, Central, and South America.
In his new role, Jardin will focus on growing ALCEA’s market presence, supporting mergers and acquisitions, and strengthening relationships with key critical infrastructure customers. He will also help scale the company’s ALWIN security management software, which is designed to connect secure edge devices like ABLOY PROTEC2 CLIQ padlocks and cylinders, as well as ABLOY BEAT keyless locks, into a unified, cyber-secure security management platform.
Jorma Issakainen, Senior Vice President and Head of Critical Infrastructure for ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions, emphasized the strategic importance of the appointment.
“Dominique brings an ideal blend of experience, technical knowledge, and customer focus to this role. As we scale ALCEA’s solutions across the Americas, his leadership will be instrumental in aligning our teams and delivering results.
“Jardin’s appointment reflects our focus on bringing ALCEA’s most trusted and field-tested innovations to U.S. critical infrastructure operators. ALWIN has earned its reputation in Europe by helping secure remote and high risk sites under some of the world’s most demanding standards. Now, we’re delivering that same level of rigor to the U.S. by helping security end users improve visibility, auditability, and resilience where it’s needed most.”
ALWIN offers a comprehensive suite of features including access control, visitor and key management, intrusion detection, and video management within a modular, scalable, and interoperable platform. It integrates seamlessly with third-party systems and edge hardware like ABLOY PROTEC2 CLIQÒ and ABLOY BEAT keyless locks, providing real-time monitoring, data collection, and reporting across both centralized and remote sites.
Originally developed and certified in France – which is renowned for its rigorous national cybersecurity standards – ALWIN delivers a trusted foundation for converged physical and digital security. By bringing this high integrity platform to the Americas, ALCEA aims to help operators in the energy, water, transportation, oil and gas, mining, and telecommunications sectors strengthen both their compliance and resilience.
“We believe the future of physical and digital security is rooted in software intelligence,” said Jardin. “ALCEA’s strength lies in fusing advanced supervision software with secure, field-proven hardware solutions. I’m excited to help customers realize the full potential of these connected systems, especially in complex, regulated sectors like utilities and transportation.”
