Black Hat USA 2017 opens call for papers, registration for 20th anniversary event

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017 – Black Hat, a leading producer of information security events, announces Registration and Call for Papers (CFP) for the 20th anniversary of Black Hat USA. Returning to Las Vegas, Black Hat will feature the very latest in information security research, development and trends – including its new Applied Security track, dedicated to the practical application of cutting edge InfoSec tools and processes. The event will span six days, kicking off with four days of intense hands-on Training for security practitioners, followed by two days of integral Briefings, a Business Hall filled with leading solution providers, special events and more.

Call for Papers (CFP) is Now Open. Black Hat is accepting submissions for groundbreaking research for this year’s Briefings, the foundation of its renowned event program. Briefings cover the latest research and development across today’s most pressing information security topics, from critical information infrastructure to IoT, security defense, popular mobile devices, applied security and everything in between.

NEW Applied Security Track!
