CrowdStrike and Amazon Business Prime to Offer Free Cyber Protection for SMBs
CrowdStrike said Wednesday it is partnering with Amazon’s Business Prime program to give small and mid-sized businesses access to its Falcon Go security platform at no additional cost. The offer is available now for Business Prime Essentials, Small, Medium, and Enterprise members. Business Prime Duo members get a 50 percent discount instead.
The Falcon Go tool is typically priced at about $60 per device per year. It’s CrowdStrike’s entry-level product, geared toward SMBs that usually don’t have large IT departments.
The arrangement is meant to cut cost and complexity barriers. Daniel Bernard, CrowdStrike's Chief Business Officer, stated that the partnership removes barriers for small businesses so that they no longer have to choose between "growing their business or protecting it."
Todd Heimes, Vice President of Amazon Business, framed the arrangement as extending enterprise-grade protection that Fortune 500 firms already use to a broader base of smaller organizations.
The platform runs on Intel processors, hosted through AWS. The offer includes around-the-clock threat monitoring and ongoing intelligence updates. Business Prime members can also choose to upgrade at a discount to higher tiers like Falcon Pro or Falcon Enterprise.
The offer is live, with sign-ups available through Amazon Business Prime’s member benefits portal. Learn more here.
