DT Research Introduces LT365PA Rugged Laptop for AI-Powered Field Operations
DT Research has announced the LT365PA Rugged Laptop, a high-performance mobile workstation that combines NVIDIA graphics, AI processing and advanced image analysis for law enforcement, forensic and military field operations.
The laptop is designed for mobile command environments that require local processing of multiple sensor inputs, video feeds, drone imagery and AI analytics, including operations where cloud or data center connectivity may be limited or unavailable.
“Today’s field teams need the same high-performance AI computing capabilities at the edge that they have in a traditional enterprise or tactical operations setting,” said Daw Tsai, president of DT Research. “The LT365PA combines discrete NVIDIA graphics and Intel Core Ultra processing with the ruggedness and hot-swappable battery architecture required for true field mobility. This gives teams the speed and flexibility to analyze complex data and make informed decisions wherever operations take them.”
DT Research is showcasing the LT365PA at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) 2026 Annual Conference and Exposition in Orlando, Florida, Oct. 25-27, at booth 1387.
The LT365PA is intended to support forensic investigations that rely on high-resolution photos, video, 3D scans and other digital evidence. Available configurations with NVIDIA RTX A2000 or RTX 5000A discrete graphics provide dedicated GPU performance for rendering, image analysis, AI processing and other data-intensive applications.
These capabilities allow investigators to process and analyze complex visual and spatial data at the scene while evidence is still being collected.
The LT365PA also supports crash reconstruction teams that need to collect accurate measurements and visual data while minimizing roadway closures. The laptop can run imaging, visualization and 3D scanning applications used to document vehicle positions, roadway conditions and other evidence.
Its workstation-class processing capabilities and rugged construction allow investigators to review and validate collected data in the field. Dual hot-swappable batteries enable continuous operation without shutting down the system to replace batteries, helping teams complete documentation and reopen roadways as quickly as possible.
For emergency response and military teams, the LT365PA provides GPU-enabled edge computing to process video, imagery and sensor data locally. Supported applications include AI video analytics, operational modeling, mapping and situational awareness.
The laptop can also support multiple displays in mobile command environments, including field tents and response vehicles, helping teams maintain access to mission-critical data and analytics when network connectivity is limited or unavailable.
In military environments, the system supports command and control, 3D laser scanning and other visualization-intensive workflows. An optional MIL-STD-3009 Class B night-vision display configuration supports low-light operations for naked-eye or night-vision goggle (NVG) viewing.
The LT365PA combines Intel Core Ultra 5 or 7 processing with features intended for outdoor and mission-critical environments. Its 15.6-inch touchscreen offers 1,200-nit brightness for field visibility, with an optional 4K display available for applications requiring greater image detail.
The laptop is IP65 rated for water and dust resistance and MIL-STD-810H certified. Its rugged enclosure combines ABS and PC plastic with a magnesium-aluminum alloy.
Optional security and connectivity features include a NIST-compliant BIOS, CAC card reader, 4G LTE and GPS.The LT365PA Rugged Laptop is scheduled to become available through authorized DT Research partners and resellers worldwide in the first quarter of 2027.
