OpenEye showcased its latest cloud video security technologies at GSX 2026, held Sept. 14-16 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

The company highlighted new products and capabilities within OpenEye Web Services (OWS), its cloud-managed video platform. Among the technologies featured were AI-powered visual search and alerting, cloud cameras, active deterrence, intelligent video monitoring and traffic counting and alerting.

OpenEye's AI visual search and alerting capabilities are designed to help security teams streamline investigations and automate portions of their response workflows. The company also demonstrated its expanding lineup of cloud cameras and active deterrence capabilities, which are intended to help organizations identify and respond to unwanted activity before incidents escalate.

Also featured was intelligent video monitoring, which uses video analytics and automated workflows to help reduce false positives and support proactive surveillance. OpenEye's AI person-counting capabilities can provide traffic data that organizations can use for both security and operational purposes, including staffing and facility management.

Beyond traditional security applications, OpenEye used GSX to emphasize the growing role of video as a source of operational intelligence. Brent Boekestein, OpenEye's vice president of enterprise accounts, participated in a GSX educational session examining how organizations can use cloud video and AI-powered analytics across departments for applications such as monitoring safety procedures, verifying site conditions and generating incident information.
