Chamberlain Professional Products Announces Personnel Changes

Access control company's marketing department gets makeover with promotions, shifts

ELMHURST, Ill. - The Chamberlain Group, Inc. announces several promotions and job reassignments within Chamberlain Professional Products' marketing department.

Dan Nixa, 46, has been promoted to director of marketing for the LiftMaster residential line. Nixa has been with Chamberlain since 1998, most recently holding the position of residential marketing manager. In his new role, Nixa will be responsible for business development of the residential garage door opener business in both the United States as well as Latin America.

Randy Planck, 48, has been promoted to director of marketing, commercial products. Planck joined Chamberlain in 2003 as the marketing manager for telephone entry and access control systems. In his new role, Planck will be responsible for strategic direction and product line management and development for telephone entry systems and access control products as well as for all gate operators.

Bill Gioia, 44, marketing manager, telephone entry systems and gates, will assume overall marketing for telephone entry products in addition to his current responsibilities for Chamberlain's gate operators.

Alex Lee, 57, has been promoted to market development manager, telephone entry systems and gates. Lee joined Chamberlain in 2003 and has more than 15 years in the gate operator and access control business.

Dan Dombkowski, 54, will assume the position of marketing manager, commercial door operators. Dombkowski joined Chamberlain in 1985 and most recently held the post of national sales manager for telephone entry and access control systems.

Gary Owens, 42, will assume the position of marketing development manager, commercial door operators. Owens has been with the company 1994 and has held sales positions representing all of the company's product lines.

"I am pleased to share these changes within the Professional Products marketing organization that will continue to serve our customers as we move forward."

The Chamberlain Group, Inc. manufactures and markets residential garage door openers, commercial door operators, residential and commercial gate operators, telephone entry systems and related access control products.
