Sony names new area sales manager

Steven Ciric joins Sony Electronics’ Security Systems Division as North Central Security Manager

PARK RIDGE, N.J., September 24, 2015 – Sony Electronics’ Security Systems Division named Steven Ciric North Central Security Manager, effective immediately.  Ciric will drive Sony revenue through the distribution and sales of Sony’s security products in the North Central marketplace.  In this role, Ciric will manage the local independent representative channel, marketing team personnel and sales engineers to drive distributor, integrator, and end-user business in the security and surveillance markets.  He is based in the Chicagoland area.

 Ciric joined Sony Electronics with over 10 years of experience in the industry, having worked most recently with Jonson Controls, Inc. and serving in a variety of capacities in global security distribution sales for nearly a decade.

 While at Johnson Controls, Inc., Ciric designed full enterprise video, access control, intercom and fire solutions.  With his previous employer, Ciric rose through the ranks working in many roles supporting the Company, from inventory and project services to product and account management.  His background includes forecasting, purchasing, trend analysis, pricing and business development, among others.  In addition, he has worked closely with a host of significant customers and end users.
