Security 101 has announced the promotion of Robert “Bobby” Guarino to general manager of its New England operations. Guarino assumed the role in August after joining the company earlier this year to lead its regional sales organization.
Guarino joined Security 101 in February and brings more than 15 years of experience in sales and operations leadership. In his expanded role, he is responsible for the company's New England market, with a focus on revenue growth, market expansion and customer relationships across sectors including healthcare, education and municipalities.
“Bobby has made an immediate impact since joining Security 101, and he brings exactly the kind of leadership our New England customers and team deserve,” said Craig Shulman, chief operating officer of Security 101. “He leads from the front, holds his team accountable and knows how to grow a business the right way. I have no doubt he will do outstanding work leading the area.”
Before joining Security 101, Guarino served as chief sales officer at Champion Elevator and general manager at EverOn, where he held full profit-and-loss responsibility. His previous experience also includes sales and operations leadership positions at Johnson Controls, Tyco Integrated Security and ADT.
Founded in 2005 and headquartered in West Palm Beach, Florida, Security 101 operates more than 60 locations across the United States. The company provides integrated security solutions for commercial customers, including the design, installation and maintenance of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, visitor management, audiovisual integration and managed service solutions.
