Sarasota, Fla. (June 2, 2014)—Scott Slough, a 24-year veteran of the electronic security and asset protection industry and NICET Level IV certified technician, has joined Rapid Security Solutions LLC, one of America’s Fastest Growing Systems Integrators as Vice President of Operations.
Slough holds numerous industry technical competencies, including the Electronic Security Association’s (ESA) NTS Level II accreditation. He began his career with a well-respected security company in Athens, Tenn., focusing on alarm operations and following, established his own company, Rocky Top Technologies, an IQ Certified firm. Most recently Slough was operations manager for Barnes’ Alarm Systems in Key West, Fla.

Throughout his career Slough has demonstrated his commitment to the industry by playing an active role in local and national organizations. He’s currently a member of the board of directors of the ESA of Florida, and prior, was president and a board member of the Tennessee Electronic Security Association, formerly the Tennessee Burglar and Fire Alarm Association.
