Company says Jim DeVries continue to perform his responsibilities

In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday, ADT reported that its president and CEO, Jim DeVries, has tested positive for COVID-19.

The company said that DeVries exhibited mild symptoms and was tested on March 31. The test came back positive on Tuesday.

“Mr. DeVries has continued to perform his responsibilities as President and Chief Executive Officer at all times, and has not shown any symptoms since April 5,” ADT’s 8-K filing read. “The Company maintains succession plans for all senior executives including temporary delegation of responsibilities to other leaders within the organization if necessary for any reason.”
