Cyber resilience company Barracuda Networks has appointed Dan Fletcher as chief financial officer, bringing experience in software company finance, operations and investment.
Fletcher most recently served as CFO of Planful, where he helped triple revenue, expand its global market footprint and integrate strategic acquisitions, according to Barracuda. He also applied AI to modernize finance operations.
Barracuda CEO Rohit Ghai said the appointment supports the company’s next phase of growth as it builds on BarracudaONE.
“Dan’s growth mindset, operating experience, and financial discipline will be instrumental as we scale the business,” Ghai said.
Previously, Fletcher served as CFO of MarkLogic, where he led its transition to a software-as-a-service model and helped guide its sale to Progress Software. As an operating principal at Vector Capital, he led acquisition, integration and value-creation initiatives across the firm’s portfolio.
Fletcher also served on LivePerson’s board through its recent sale to SoundHound AI and previously served on the board of Reconext. He currently serves as lead independent director of Gappify and has advised several early-stage software companies.
