Foundation for Advancing Security Talent welcomes Michal Moss early to FAST Board of Directors

Michal Moss Early is an experienced leader in the security industry, with five years’ experience at Digital Monitoring Products.

Michal Moss Early, executive director of corporate strategy at Digital Monitoring Products, was recently appointed by the Security Industry Association (SIA) as a member of the Foundation for Advancing Security Talent (FAST) Board of Directors. Effective July 1, 2023, Moss Early will serve a two-year term on the FAST board.

Michal Moss Early is an experienced leader in the security industry, with five years’ experience at Digital Monitoring Products. As executive director of corporate strategy, she provides leadership to the human resources, information technology, marketing and intellectual property teams. Prior to working in the security industry, Moss Early was in the banking industry serving as a senior vice president in sales, marketing and operational roles for over 16 years.

“I’m thrilled to join the FAST Board of Directors at this exciting time for the organization,” said Moss Early. “Attracting new talent is critical to advancing the security industry. I look forward to working with Aiden O’Brien and my fellow board members to build awareness of the tremendous career opportunities in security.”

The FAST board members are a team of committed industry volunteers whose mandate is to promote the interests and growth of FAST. Recently, FAST also welcomed Aiden O’Brien as its new executive director. O’Brien will assist the board in implementing its strategic director for FAST.

“I’m honored to take on this role and lead the day-to-day operations at FAST,” said O’Brien. “Together, we will create new initiatives to showcase security as a rewarding and purpose-driven career path. Michal and the rest of the talented board will be invaluable partners in this important work.”

The FAST Board of Directors now includes the following members:

FAST is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization promoting careers in the physical security technology and life safety industry. Created in 2020 through a partnership of the Electronic Security Association (ESA) and SIA – the industry’s leading associations – FAST connects passionate, innovative professionals with new opportunities in electronic security and life safety. The foundation brings awareness to the career advancement opportunities within the fast-paced technology industry that serves to keep people, places and property safe.

FAST’s key efforts include outreach to schools, colleges and universities to increase awareness of the exciting and rewarding careers available in security; research on the industry’s workforce development needs and possible solutions; and continuing education resources to help those already in the industry stay current with rapidly emerging and evolving technologies.
