March Networks and VIVOTEK have announced plans to merge VIVOTEK’s branded business with March Networks, combining their respective video security portfolios to expand scale and capabilities across cloud, hybrid and on-premise environments.
The companies said the combined organization will bring together enterprise video management, AI-powered analytics, advanced cameras and cloud services. The move is intended to accelerate innovation and expand their global security ecosystem.
The transaction is expected to close in mid-April, at which point the combined organization will be led by March Networks President and CEO Peter Strom.
Both companies are owned by Delta Electronics, which finalized its acquisition of March Networks in December 2021.
“This integration is about driving greater scale and accelerating long-term growth,” Strom stated. “By bringing together two market leaders with highly complementary strengths, we are expanding our capabilities and creating new opportunities to deliver more value to our customers and partners.”
Under the agreement, VIVOTEK’s manufacturing business will continue to operate independently, while its branded business will be integrated with March Networks.
The companies said customers and partners will continue working with existing brands, support teams and technology platforms following the merger, while gaining access to a broader portfolio of solutions.
According to the announcement, the combined organization will operate across six continents and more than 70 countries, with expected annual revenue exceeding $200 million. It will include more than 300 engineers across research and development centers in Ottawa, Taipei, Poland and Italy, as well as a network of more than 1,100 certified channel partners worldwide.
“This is a seamless transition for our customers and partners,” said Net Payne, chief sales and marketing officer. “They will continue working with the same teams they know and trust, while benefiting from greater scale, more choice, and broader global coverage.”
The merger will take effect following Delta Electronics’ purchase of the remaining VIVOTEK shares it does not already own, which is also expected to be completed in mid-April.
Both companies are scheduled to exhibit at ISC West 2026, taking place March 25-27 at the Venetian Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas.
