Netwatch has appointed security industry veteran Kris Slimmer as senior vice president of sales, putting him in charge of the company’s North American sales organization.
The company said Slimmer will focus on expanding adoption of its proactive security model across retail, banking, critical infrastructure, commercial real estate and other priority markets. Netwatch combines AI-enabled detection with live operator intervention as part of its proactive video monitoring services.
Slimmer brings nearly 30 years of experience in sales, business development and operations leadership in the security industry. He spent 13 years at Allied Universal, where he held six leadership positions across sales and operations and ultimately was responsible for a $400 million region.
Most recently, Slimmer served as division vice president at Admiral Security Services, leading the company’s $100 million National Capital Region business. Earlier in his career, he was regional vice president at Empire Today, where he led a $150 million region with more than 500 sales consultants.
“Netwatch is entering a phase where the market is moving toward us. Customers want security that prevents incidents rather than simply records them, and our combination of AI detection and live operator intervention delivers exactly that,” said Justin Nagy, CEO of Netwatch. “Kris has run a $400-million P&L and built sales organizations that scale through both channel partners and direct enterprise relationships. What sets him apart is his focus on developing people and his discipline as an operator. He is the right leader to take our commercial organization into its next stage.”
In his new role, Slimmer will work across the company to strengthen relationships with customers and partners while pursuing opportunities in Netwatch’s core markets.
“Netwatch has built something the rest of the industry is still trying to catch up to: a proven model where AI and skilled operators work together to stop incidents in real time, at scale,” Slimmer said. “The channel relationships, the enterprise footprint, and the technology are already in place. My job is to help more organizations experience what proactive security means. I am looking forward to getting to work with the team, our partners, and our customers, to achieve this goal.”
