SALT LAKE CITY -- Security and surveillance are a concern worldwide. Synergetic Technologies Inc.'s subsidiary, Advent Systems Inc., empowers business and government agencies to create a safer place to live and work. Advent Systems Inc. has expanded its marketing efforts through the signing of two new dealers for our products in Hawaii and the United Kingdom, thus further extending our distribution efforts outside the 48 states.
Additionally, we have successfully completed projects for two different school districts in Utah. The first project included full surveillance systems installed in the school buildings. Since installation, it has caught vandalism suspects on digital video. This video has already led to an arrest.
The second school district has a modification of Advent's "Cab Watch" system installed in some of their school buses. These units will record the activities inside and outside the school buses with digital video. This allows for increased security for the students as well as the bus driver. The benefit of having video of the school buses will help the school district with liability issues. Additionally, we have other school districts that are currently considering this same bus security system.
We also are pleased to announce the installation of our surveillance equipment in multiple locations of a Utah college campus. This installation of our product not only secures the safety of the students and staff, it also allows security management to monitor their cameras from remote locations.
Advent Systems Inc. is also pleased to announce the completion of the installation of a custom-built surveillance system for Martin Brower Inc. Martin Brower Inc. is a world-class distributor of food and restaurant products with locations across the United States, and in Canada, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Guatemala, Panama and Costa Rica. Martin Brower Inc. has made security of their products a high priority. The Advent surveillance system was installed in a 186,000-square-foot facility in Northern California. Advent Systems is hoping that this installation will be the first of many more to come for our surveillance products.
