Toshiba names new inside sales solutions representative

IRVINE, CA, JUNE 19, 2015 -- Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video Products, a business unit of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., today appointed Steve Nedik as Inside Sales Solutions Representative, a newly created position within the organization that will provide critical leadership in strengthening and aggressively growing relationships with Toshiba Channel Reps, Field Sales team members and industry professionals. 

Prior to joining Toshiba, Steve was an integral part of the Physical Security team at distributor Tech Data for seven years. Leveraging this background, he will act as an invaluable information source on the proper specification and installation of Toshiba IP cameras and recording equipment, especially in the area of integrating Toshiba products with third-party hardware and VMS.

"Much of Steve's career has been spent working with the equipment and software of other video surveillance manufacturers where he gained important competitive knowledge; this background makes him the ideal point person on the interoperability of Toshiba products," said Greg Hartzell, Senior Manager for Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video Products. "Steve has an excellent grasp of how to best apply Toshiba equipment to assure a truly seamless network -- whether the customer is migrating from an analog system to a cost-effective Toshiba best-of-breed hybrid solution, or if they're expanding an enterprise-class IP infrastructure with Toshiba IP cameras, recorders and software." 

In addition to working for Tech Data, Mr. Nedik brings to Toshiba more than twenty years of professional experience as a small business manager and audio/visual designer and installer. He earned a degree in science from the University of Maine.
