Toshiba promotes Greg Hartzell

Hartzell named director of surveillance and IP video products business unit

IRVINE, CA, NOVEMBER 11, 2015 -- Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. announced today the promotion of Greg Hartzell to Director of its Surveillance & IP Video Products business unit, a world leader in specialized video technology used in surveillance and monitoring applications.

Prior to today's announcement, Hartzell served as the unit's Senior Manager. In his new role, he will be responsible for setting the vision and strategic direction, as well as overseeing daily operations and sales management.

"Greg is a key member of our management team and will be instrumental as we introduce innovative new IP video solutions, expand further in South and Latin America by leveraging the Toshiba brand, and accelerate the profitable growth of the business unit."

Mr. Hartzell has more than twenty years of multi-tier experience in sales channels at the manufacturer, distributor and reseller levels. Prior to joining Toshiba in 2008, he served as Distribution Sales Manager for SolarWinds where he was responsible for launching their presence in distribution. Previously, he held sales and management positions with FrontRange Solutions, Sage Software, MicroAge and Inacom.

Mr. Hartzell holds a B.A. in International Business from the University of Nebraska.
