Monrovia, CA: Comelit, a world-renowned Video Intercom and Access Control manufacturer, is pleased to announce the official appointment of Marco Sanchez as President of Comelit USA. This strategic decision has reinforced Comelit’s commitment to the ever-changing growth and innovation in the security industry.
Marco is a proven leader who has excelled at strategic planning and execution while achieving significant growth. He brings a strong skillset and fresh approach with over 15 years of experience in sales, go to market strategies, strengthening operation risk management and compliance, and innovating amid a rapidly evolving landscape.
Comelit Group SpA Italy has been at the forefront of manufacturing Video Intercom products since 1956. Operating in 16 countries globally and exporting to more than 90, Comelit has generated an impressive revenue of over $170 million. Notably, Comelit was the first to market with an IP based Video Intercom system as well as offering a mobile application as part of the solution. Most recently Comelit acquired PAC Access Control with over 60 years’ experience in designing and manufacturing secure access control products and integrated security solutions. PAC provides a well-established range that delivers flexible integrated security solutions tailored to the commercial and residential market sectors.
This will be the first step in a series of investments in resources and facilities that the group will make to grow both our traditional business (intercom) and the newer access control one in the US Market.

Prior to joining Comelit USA, Marco held the position of Vice President of Sales for the West and Canada at Hanwha Vision America (previously Hanwha Techwin America, previously Samsung Techwin America). During his commendable eleven-year tenure with Hanwha, he helped develop a multitude of programs and business strategies to pivot Hanwha’s technology from an analog camera company to a full solution IP based organization. He brings a diverse portfolio of experience not only from the manufacturers’ perspective but also from the system integrator perspective where he was one of the top producers at Protection One Security, now ADT Security.
