Summit Access & Security has acquired Top Security Locksmiths, a Point Pleasant, New Jersey-based locksmith and security business, expanding Summit’s presence in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.

Top Security Locksmiths will be integrated under the Summit Access & Security brand. The company’s employees will remain with the business, while its Point Pleasant location will continue operating as a base for serving customers in New Jersey.

Summit also will retain Top Security Locksmiths’ fleet of service vehicles, which provides mobile locksmith and security services throughout Monmouth, Ocean and Middlesex counties.

Founded in 1989, Top Security Locksmiths provides residential, commercial and automotive locksmith services as well as access control, video surveillance, safes and vaults and intrustion and fire alarm systems. The company was built on more than 60 years of locksmith experience within the Rible family.

David C. Rible, CML, CAL, who has owned and operated Top Security Locksmiths since 2022, will remain with the company and continue overseeing day-to-day operations.

Rible said joining Summit will provide the company with additional resources while allowing him to remain involved with the business and its customers.

Summit Access & Security, formerly IML Security, is headquartered in Farmingdale, New York. The company designs, installs and services access control and physical security systems for financial institutions, healthcare facilities, schools, supermarkets, retailers and industrial facilities.

Its services include access control and master key systems, specialized entry systems, door repair and preventative maintenance, ADA entry compliance, storefront glass solutions, vaults and safes, drive-up banking equipment, cash handling systems and 24/7 emergency service.
