Cypress Integration Solutions has appointed Clinton Bolinger as executive vice president, effective immediately.
Bolinger returned to the security manufacturer in 2025 as director of manufacturing and engineering, taking on additional responsibility for the company's printed circuit board (PCB) assembly and turnkey electronics manufacturing operations.
He previously served as Cypress' manufacturing director from 2010 to 2021 before leaving to oversee the robotics center at Kettering University in Flint, Mich.
“Clinton’s dedication, technical depth, and vision for operational excellence have been vital to Cypress both past and present,” said Jon Uren, president and CEO of Cypress Integration Solutions.
“Having him step into the Executive Vice President role gives us strong, proven leadership as we scale our manufacturing and product development. It’s a well deserved promotion, and I’m thrilled for what’s ahead.”
Before joining Cypress in 2010, Bolinger worked as a manufacturing engineer. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Kettering University.
“Returning to Cypress felt like coming home, and taking on the Executive Vice President role is an incredible opportunity,” Bolinger said. “I'm eager to work closely with Jon and our team to expand our electronics manufacturing, drive efficiency, and help lead Cypress into its next chapter of growth.”
Outside his professional responsibilities, Bolinger and his wife, Brandi, coach FIRST Robotics Team 2337, known as The EngiNERDs, at Grand Blanc High School. The couple founded the team and regularly leads workshops to help new teams enter the competitive robotics program.
Based in Lapeer, Mich., Cypress manufactures security access control accessories for Wiegand and OSDP systems. Its product portfolio includes reader-extenders, wireless handheld readers, data converters, OSDP tools and accessories, custom electronics and PCB assembly and turnkey electronics manufacturing services.
