Boon Edam Inc. has expanded its physical security entrance solutions portfolio with the launch of new mobile full height turnstiles designed for construction sites and other temporary locations.

The new mobile security entrance solution is intended for dynamic applications that require mobility as venues evolve or temporary deployments change while maintaining high levels of physical security.

According to the company, the Boon Edam Turnlock 100 Mobile Platform differs from traditional fixed entrance solutions by allowing deployment, relocation and redeployment throughout different phases of a project without requiring permanent installation, trenching or anchoring. The forklift-ready steel platform is designed for easy transport across a job site.

The platform also integrates with card readers, biometrics and other access control systems to help improve onsite security while preventing unauthorized entry and tailgating.

The company said the solution is suited for construction sites, temporary staging areas and infrastructure projects requiring a portable access control system.
